We recently carried out a project in Bletchley, Milton Keynes, for a client hoping to renovate their property, enhancing living space and modernising the overall appearance of their home. To do this, they opted for converting their garage, along with installing a new kitchen.
What We Did:
As you can see from the before photos below, the client’s old kitchen was beginning to look outdated, which meant that they were eager to revamp the space completely. The client chose to knock through their kitchen area, which would create a large-scale opening that would lead to their garage space – the garage was also going to be converted into a utility room as part of the project. Together, these would create an open plan living area that was guaranteed to add the contemporary feel that the client hoped for.
To begin the project, the old kitchen was completely ripped out before the space was replastered and all new electrics were installed, including a new fuse board. The wall which divided the kitchen and garage was knocked through, creating an opening from one room to another. Once the foundations of the rooms were complete, our team could move onto installing the new kitchen, along with all items that the client wanted in their utility room. Along with furniture and fixtures, we also mounted designer radiators and fitted all new downstairs internal doors.
The client was thrilled with their new space, which added that ‘new home’ feel to their existing property. They now have a fully functioning kitchen and utility room which will provide their family with complete practicality for many years to come, while adding a modern aesthetic to their property. If you are interested in transforming your property once the lockdown restrictions have been lifted, then please do not hesitate to contact our team. We will try our best to get back to you as soon as possible.
